Union FC Macomb is thrilled to announce the appointment of Vinnie Vasilevski as the new General Manager to lead the USL-2 men’s and USL-W women’s soccer programs. Vinnie brings a wealth of experience as a player, coach, and leader, making him the perfect fit to elevate Union FC’s mission of player development and community impact.
Vinnie’s soccer journey is nothing short of inspiring. He began as a collegiate athlete, spending two standout years as a winger at Tiffin University before transitioning to striker at Saginaw Valley State University/Northwood University. In 2010, he played briefly in Sweden’s 3rd Division before shifting his focus to coaching and training, a move that underscored his deep passion for the game.
As a coach, Vinnie has made significant contributions to the Michigan soccer community. He has developed players through his work with PSG Nova/Gators (Nationals), specializing in shooting and finishing techniques, and has been the head coach at Romeo High School since 2017, leading the team to an impressive record of 88-52-16. His leadership extended to Oakland County FC in USL-2, where he served as both Coach and General Manager from 2020 to 2024, achieving a major milestone in 2022 by guiding the team to victory in the Michigan Milk Cup.
Now, as the General Manager of Union FC Macomb’s USL-2 and USL-W programs, Vinnie is committed to taking the teams to new heights. Known for his dedication to helping players reach their collegiate and professional goals, he emphasizes creating a positive and supportive environment that promotes both athletic and personal growth.
