(Tues, Dec 10) – Union FC Macomb is delighted to share that it has appointed David Robertson as its first-ever USL-W Head Coach.
Robertson, the current ECNL Girls Academy Director for Nationals (Detroit, MI), has one of the best reputations in the United States for fostering talent and developing elite player development environments. Robertson holds a US Soccer A License, US Soccer Academy Director License, and the USC Premier Diploma and brings a long history of player development within a distinctly unique style of soccer.
Since joining Nationals in 2020, Robertson has driven the growth of the program to be ranked by SoccerWire as the #3 female program in the United States, guided over 100+ players to move on to play in college, and helped more than 20 Nationals players gain call ups to the youth & full national team for the United States, Mexico & Puerto Rico.

With the addition of the USL-W program, Union FC Macomb is building on its first season and the success of the men’s program in USL League 2 in 2024. The club is excited to be able to provide the best programming for the area’s top female and male players.
